
A new anime adaptation was announced in April 2023 for the fall with the manga property Dekoboko Majo no Oyako Jijō getting the nod. The fifth volume of the series from Piroya revealed plans for a fall 2023 TV debut for it at the time. The manga began in 2019 through Comic Meteor and there is no English release at this point.
Recently, the official site and social revealed an October 1st, 2023 premiere, and with Crunchyroll picking it up as The Family Circumstances of the Irregular Witch, the Japanese side has now brought out a new key visual with some moon-viewing goodness.

The series has Masahiro Takata directing it from the scripts by HyroKnuckle. Miwa Yoshida is handling the character designs with A-Real on the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes:

Nana Mizuki will perform “Sugar Doughnuts” for the opening theme while angela will perform “Welcome!” for the ending theme.

Plot Concept: The show deals with Alissa, who is a witch who lives alone in a forest. One day she finds a human baby, and she names her Viola. Alissa raises Viola for 16 years, but Viola grows beyond even Alissa’s imagination. The comedy series focuses on the parent-and-child relationship where appearances are deceiving as to who is the parent and who is the child.
