The fall 2020 anime adaptation of the manga for Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear saw its home video releases in Japan handled by Kadokawa and they’ve set the schedule for the second season of it. The twelve-episode series is getting a three-volume release on both DVD and Blu-ray. The DVD is priced at 11,000 yen per volume while the Blu-rays are at 13,000 yen each. The first season got underway with January 27th, 2021 releases, and the second season started on July 26th, 2023.

Yuu Nobuta directed it based on the series composition by Takashi Aoshima. Yuki Nakano is on board as the character designer with EMT² handling the animation production.
The two leads are also set with Maki Kawase as Yuna and Azuma Waki as Fina. Additional cast includes Emi Miyajima as Kumayuru, Inori Minase as Shia Foschurose, Koji Yusa as Cliff Foschurose, Miyu Tomita as Shuri, Rina Hidaka as Noire Foschurose, Satomi Amano as Misana Farrengram, Satoshi Tsuruoka as Gentz, and Yūko Kurose as Kumakyū.
Azumi Waki performed the opening theme song in character as Fina while Maki Kawase performed the ending theme song “Ano ne” in character as Yuna.
The novels began in 2014 from writer Kumanano and artist 029 where there are twelve volumes out so far and going plus an 11.5 volume. The manga was adapted by Sergei which began in 2018 and has three volumes so far.
Seven Seas is bringing out the light novel series for the first time in North America in single volume editions. The first volume saw release on July 7th, 2020 for $13.99 USA / $17.99 CAN. Check out the full series here.
