A new anime adaptation was announced back in October 2020 with the My Tiny Senpai property. The project saw a summer 2023 debut with DMM Pictures handling the home video releases. The twelve-episode series is getting a four-volume release on Blu-ray where the regular editions are priced at 9,000 yen and limited edition releases are priced at 12,500 yen for the first volume.
With the first set out not for a good bit yet, the production has included a two-minute clip of some ASMR work that will be included as a drama CD. And it is certainly a thing that fans will enjoy experiencing. You don’t need subtitles, you just need to listen.
The show has Mitsutoshi Sato directing it from the scripts by Keiichirō Ōchi, Yasuko Aoki, and Satoru Sugizawa. Hayato Hashiguchi and Hiromi Ogata are handling the character designs with project No. 9 working on the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes Hina Tachibana as Shiori Katase, Yūki Shin as Takuma Shinozaki, Nobunaga Shimazaki as Chihiro Akina, Yumiri Hanamori as Chinatsu Hayakawa, and Mikako Komatsu as Yutaka Shinozaki.
The opening theme song “HONEY” has Toya Kobayashi performing while the ending theme song “sugar” will be performed by YU-KA.
Knowing originally as Uchi no Kaisha no Chiisai Senpai no Hanashi, it began in 2020 in Manga Life Storia Dash from Takeshobo as created by Saisou. The manga is ongoing with five volumes released so far.
