With the usual delay between the period and the reporting in place, Nielsen has updated to reveal the most-streamed shows in the US through the week ending August 13th, 2023. Netflix continues to dominate but this week holds onto seven slots this time – though a few are shared slots.
The debut of Suits on Netflix and Peacock has shown the strength of the series as it came in at 2.3 billion minutes in its first week and hit 3.1 billion minutes in its second week. Now, in its ninth week, it finally falls below three billion minutes by coming in at 2.8 billion minutes. The Lincoln Lawyer continues to do well at 768 billion minutes while Painkiller moves up to second with 1.1 billion minutes.
Disney+ gets the third-place slot as Bluey breaks the billion minutes mark for the sixth time while Max and Netflix split some slot time with Ballers in at 696 minutes as the show gets a new audience on Netflix. Hulu loses its spot for Only Murders in the Building.
