
A new anime adaptation was in the works for release in 2023 in broadcast form with the Am I Actually the Strongest? light novels getting the nod. The project was announced in September 2022 and over time we got the main staff and cast for it as well as being set for a July 2023 premiere. Avex Pictures is handling the home video releases for it and they’ve set a box set plan release for it with two sets arriving on September 29th, 2023, and October 27th, 2023 respectively. They’ll be on Blu-ray only and listed as limited editions priced at 18,000 yen each.

The series has Takashi Naoya directing it with Matsuo Asami assisting with the series composition by Tatsuya Takahashi. Shoko Yasuda is on the character designs with Staple Entertainment producing the animation.
The Japanese cast includes Ayumu Murase as Hart, Atsumi Tanezaki as Charlotte, Ayaka Shimizu as Flay, Wakana Kuramochi as Liza, Ami Koshimizu as Irisphilia, Shinnosuke Tachibana as Laius, Manaka Iwami as Marianne, and Misaki Kuno as Tearietta Luseiannel.
The English dub has Cris George directing it from the scripts by Tyler Walker and Domonique French. The English cast includes Kevin D. Thelwell as Haruto, Kate Bristol as Charlotte, Corey Pettit as Flay, Christopher Wehkamp as Gold, Jenney Ledel as Natalia, and Lydia Mackay as Gizelotte.
The series features the theme song “Reset Life?” from Lezel for the opening and the ending theme song “Himi CHU★Pre-Love Magic” from Star★Shiμ’ne!!!
The novels come from writer Sai Sumimori which began in 2018 and has five novels in print so far. A manga adaptation from Ai Takahashi began in 2019 and has seven volumes out and is ongoing in Japan. Kodansha Comics has released the series digitally in English.
