Kadokawa and TROYCA in January 2023 announced a new original production that was teased recently with the Overtake! project. We knew previously that the series was set for a fall 2023 debut and recently the official site has scheduled an October 1st, 2023 premiere for it on most of the main networks. Now, the production is looking to get people more interested as they’ve dropped the third promotional video for it which previews the ending theme song “Good Luck” from Tasuku Hatanaka.
The show has Ei Aoki directing it from the scripts overseen by Ayumi Sekine. Masako Matsumoto is working on the character designs as adapted from Takako Shimura’s concept designs.

Plot Concept: The project focuses on the motorsport Formula 4 (F4). Freelance photographer Kōya Madoka finds himself in a slump due to a certain reason. He goes to Fuji International Speedway to work on a story, and he meets the high school F4 racer Haruka Asahina. He suddenly finds his heart racing after not feeling much for a long time. With that, he starts supporting Haruka and the “Komaki Motors” youth team to help Haruka achieve his dreams.
