We learned in August 2022 that a new anime is in our future as the adaptation of the light novel series from Miku and illustrator Rein Kuwashima’s I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World was announced. Kadokawa is holding the home video releases for the show in Japan and they’re going for two box sets for each format. They’re coming out on July 26th, 2023, and September 27th, 2023 where the DVD sets are priced at 16,000 yen and the Blu-ray sets at 18,000 yen.

The show has Shin Itagaki as the chief director with Shingo Tanabe directing it from the scripts overseen by Itagaki. Hiromi Kimura is on the character designs with Millepensee handling the animation production for it.

The Japanese cast includes Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Yūya Tenjō, Akari Kitō as Kaori Hojō, Kaori Maeda as Lexia Von Arcelia, Sayaka Senbongi as Miu Midō, Ayana Taketatsu as Kaede Kazama, Shizuka Ishigami as Yukine Hyōdō, Mai Nakahara as Rin Kanzaki, Nobuhiko Okamoto as Ryō Igarashi, Ayumu Murase as Shingo Kurata, Ai Kakuma as Luna, Rina Hidaka as Yuty, Nao Tōyama as Night, Kazuhiko Inoue as Usagi, and Yuka Iguchi as Akatsuki.
Known originally as Isekai de Cheat Skill o Te ni Shita Ore wa, Genjitsu Sekai o mo Musōsuru, it began in 2018 as published by Fantasia Bunko and has ten volumes in print as of the announcement. Yen Press has picked up the light novels and manga adaptation for release in English.
