The folks at Disney+ and Lucasfilm revealed a few years back that they were looking to do a Star Wars: Lando original series and then it largely went quiet for the longest time – though was still on the books and talked about here and there as still being in development. The last update we saw on it was earlier this summer when the writing team changed from Justin Simien to Stephen and Donald Glover themselves – which reaffirmed that the project was still being developed.
Now, Stepehen Glover revealed earlier today that the project is being developed as a feature film instead.
“It’s not even a show,” revealed the 3x Emmy nominated Atlanta EP on an episode of Pablo Torre Finds Out.
“The idea right now is to do a movie,” added Glover.
“Right now because of the strike, it’s like telephone,” said Glover.
