A new original anime is being lined up for the fall 2023 season with the esports project Our Rainy Protocol. The show is set as part of the NUMAnimation programming block with an October 2023 premiere set for it. While we got a lot of the basics with the announcement this summer, the latest update from it is the reveal of an October 7th, 2023 premiere date along with a new promotional video.
The update also came with some theme song information with “SennaRin” performing the opening theme song “S9aiR” while the ending theme is “Another Complex” from somei. Check out their announcements below.

Yasutaka Yamamoto is the chief director with Daishi Kato directing it from the scripts that Yamamoto is overseeing with Katsuhiko Takayama. It’s from an original idea and story draft from Team KITSUNE and has KLanna Hirayama adapting booota’s original designs with studio Quad handling the production.
The Japanese cast includes:

Plot Concept: The youth drama centers on the world of e-sports. Shun Tokinoya is a second-hear high school student who started working at the e-sports café FOX ONE after his father’s accidental death. However, it comes to light that FOX ONE is in a considerable amount of debt. In order to repay the debt, Shun and his friends enter the “Xaxxerion Championship” tournament to win the tournament’s prize money.
