Seven Seas Entertainment is bringing another manga series to print as they’ve solicited for the first volume of The White Mage Doesn’t Want to Raise the Hero’s Level. The first volume is set for a January 9th, 2024 release priced at $14.99 with it listed as coming in at 186 pages.
The property comes from writer/artist Kirie which began serialization in 2020 in Comic Meteor from Flex Comix. Known originally as Shiro Majutsushi wa Yuusha no Level wo Agetakunai, It has four volumes out in Japan so far and is listed as complete.
Plot Concept: Irie Izumi has been summoned to another world to fulfill his heroic destiny! He quickly meets and forms a party with Level 20 white mage Shina, who falls in love with him at first sight. When Irie succeeds in his quest, he will be transported home–but Shina isn’t about to let her “Lord Hero” get away so easily!
