The second release week of September is here when it comes to home video releases and while we cover the anime side specifically elsewhere, we have a look at the more general market today. This week is definitely on the busy side overall with some solid films landing and some rereleases worth checking out.
On the new film side, this week has a few things coming out with films like Air and Joy Ride being the big ones while a lot of indies films flesh it out beyond that.
On the re-release side, there are a couple of good films getting a new lease on life with the UHD for Batman: Mask of the Phantasm landing as well as things like Ghoulies and Kick-Ass 2. It’s also a good day for Shrek the Third to get a UHD release.
On the TV side, this week has the final season of Succession as well as more Cobra Kai and the first season of Poker Face. We also get the recently broadcast Walking Dead: Dead City getting a DVD and Blu-ray release.
