A new anime adaptation is on our way quicker than we usually hear about as The Maid I Hired Recently Is Mysterious has been announced for the summer 2022 season. The series premiered on July 23rd, 2022, and now Crunchyroll previously set a September 12th, 2023 premiere for the Hindi dub. The first episode has ow gone live and new episodes will go live on Tuesdays at 8:30 am IST with a cast that includes:
- Lilith voiced by Diksha Sharma
- Yuuri voiced by Swapnil Kumari
The anime adaptation has Mirai Minato as chief director and working on the scripts for the series. Misuzu Hoshino is on board as the director while Machi Yoshino is handling the character designs. Silver Link and BLADE are handling the animation production for the series.
The Japanese cast includes:
- Saori Hayami as Yuuri
- Rie Takahashi as Lilith
- Yui Horie as Tsukasa Gojoin
- Mikako Komatsu as Fujisaki
- Miyu Tomita as Natsume Nakashima
The opening theme song which is coming from ≠ME with the song “Su, Suki Janai!” Yui Horie will be performing the ending theme song “Himitsu no Niwa no Futari” for the show.
The property comes from the manga by Wakame Konbu which began in January 2020 as serialized in Gangan Joker magazine. It has five volumes out and is ongoing with Yen Press bringing it out in English.
