‘The Nun 2’ Takes Box Office Victory

Another weekend, another box office result.

We’ve seen the big films of summer fade back with Barbie and Oppenheimer having great results and the fall wave of films are starting to move in. The Nun 2 stips in for its debut and hits the top spot at $32.6 million while My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 comes in at third with a $10 million take.

Last week’s top film with The Equalizer 3 falls to second with a $12 million take to bring it to just under $62 million.

This weekend comes in at around $88 million total and that’s pretty much double of what the weekend did last year when everything was much weaker in terms of offerings and availability.
