With the usual delay between the period and the reporting in place, Nielsen has updated to reveal the most-streamed shows in the US through the week ending August 13th, 2023. Netflix continues to dominate but this week holds onto seven slots this time – though a few are shared slots.
The debut of Suits on Netflix and Peacock has shown the strength of the series as it came in at 2.3 billion minutes in its first week and hit 3.1 billion minutes in its second week. Now, in its eighth week, it’s again doing huge numbers as it’s at 3 billion minutes. The Lincoln Lawyer continues to do well at 1.4 billion minutes while Painkiller is also holding up well.
Disney+ gets the third-place slot as Bluey breaks the billion minutes mark for the fifth time and they also get the seventh slot for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 this week. Hulu nabs a spot for Only Murders in the Building with its premiere.
