We learned in March 2023 that the Villainess Level 99: I May Be The Hidden Boss But I’m Not the Demon Lord light novel series is getting a TV anime adaptation. No staff, cast, or other plans were revealed at that initial announcement. Now, the show has been set for the winter 2024 period and we’ve got the staff and cast for it as well as the first promo and a new group key visual below.
The series has Minoru Yamaoka directing it from the scripts overseen by Fumihiko Shimo. Hitomi Kaiho and Lo Ho Kim are handling the character designs while studio Jumondo is on board for the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes:

- Yūma Uchida as Patrick Ashbatten
- Azumi Waki as Alicia Ehnleit
- Taku Yashiro as Edwin Valschein
- Haruki Ishiya as William Ares

The light novel series comes from Satori Tanabata with artwork by Tea which is being released in English by J-Novel club.
