We learned in October 2022 about a new anime adaptation with the Hoshikuzu Telepath property. getting the nod. The launch of the official site late last year revealed plans for a 2023 premiere. With a good round of details rolling out for it, we recently got confirmed an October 2023 debut for it as part of the fall season. Now, the show has gotten an October 9th, 2023 premiere date through the manga publisher revealing it.

The show has Kaori directing it from the series composition by them and Natsuko Takahashi. Takahiro Sakai is handling the character designs and serving as chief animation director with Studio Gokumi handling the production.
The Japanese cast includes:
- Yurie Funato as Umika Konohoshi
- Seria Fukagawa as Yū Akeuchi
- Moe Nagamuta as Haruno Takaragi
- Shiki Aoki as Matataki Raimon
- Natsumi Takamori as Emihara
- Hina Yomiya as Honami Konohoshi
The manga comes from Rsuko Ookuma which began in 2019 as serialized in Manga Time Kirara for Houbunsha. The manga is not licensed in English and has three volumes out in Japan so far with it listed as ongoing.

Plot Concept: Konohoshi Umika is a high-schooler who is very bad at communicating with others. Feeling almost like an alien trapped on Earth with nowhere to belong, one day she meets a girl who claims to be an actual alien!
