The Koei Tecmo game Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout is getting some attention as an anime adaptation hit in the summer 0f 2023 with a July 1st debut. Aniplex Japan is handling the home video releases for the series and they’ve set a six-volume plan for it with limited editions on both DVD and Blu-ray. The DVDs are all priced at 6,000 yen each while the Blu-rays are at 7,000 yen while the first volumes for both are 1,000 yen more each and begin on September 20th, 2023.

The project has set Ema Yuzuriah as its director with Yashichiro Takashi to oversee the scripts having worked on the game. Tomoyuki Shitaya is on board for the character designs and LIDEN FILMS handles the production. Kazuki Yamagawa worked on the game for the music and is working on it here as well.
The Japanese cast includes Haruka Terui as Lila Decyrus, Hirofumi Nojima as Empel Vollmer, Hitomi Ohwada as Klaudia Valentz, Takuma Terashima as Lent Marslink, Yui Kondou as Tao Mongarten, and Yuri Noguchi as Reisalin “Ryza” Stout.
The opening theme song is “Arrow” from Awkmiu and the ending theme song is “Golden Ray” as performed by Sangatsu no Phantasia.

Game Plot Concept: The concept of this title, the latest in the series to depict a new “Atelier” world, is “True-to-life youths that develop together, even if just a little bit”. It is the story of a girl and her friends who are about to become adults, discovering what is most important to them. To depict the story of the main characters discovering things they’ve never seen before, we’ve created fields with natural shadows that allow you to feel the breath of the world. Graphics have been further enhanced, allowing for a world of daily life and adventure to be depicted in a new way.
