Seven Seas Entertainment picked up the manga series Level 1 Demon Lord and One Room Hero back in February 2021 and it looks like they’ll be able to sell more of it as an anime adaptation arrived as part of the summer 2023 season. The show is getting its home video release handled by Kadokawa and they’ve set a pretty straightforward schedule for it. The twelve-episode series is being released across three volumes beginning on September 27th, 2023. The DVD sets will be priced at 11,000 yen each while the Blu-rays will be priced at 13,000 yen.
With the first set coming up in a few weeks we now have a look at the artwork for the digipak and outer case for the first volume. Check out the full schedule below for all the known details.
The show will be directed by Keisuke Inoue and based on the scripts overseen by Toshiya Ono. Yoshihiro Watanabe is handling the character designs with SILVER LINK and BLADE handling the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes Yūichi Nakamura as Max, Naomi Ōzora as Demon Lord, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Fred, Hiro Shimono as Leo, Ami Koshimizu as Yuria, and Yoko Hikasa as Zenia.
The opening theme “One Room Adventure” will be performed by MADKID while Nenne will perform “Mirai=Teleport” as the ending theme song.
The series comes from creator Toufu which began in 2019 as serialized in Comic Fuz. It has six volumes out in Japan so far and is listed as ongoing still.

Plot Concept: The Demon Lord seeks revenge on Max, the hero, after a humiliating defeat ten years ago! Unfortunately, Max isn’t the dashing do-gooder the Demon Lord remembers. Max now has no interest in an epic rematch after his humiliating fall from hero to zero. Refusing to accept this new status quo, the Demon Lord vows to whip Max back into shape, but it certainly won’t be easy!
