While a lot of focus has been on the movies and other projects recently, Crunchyroll is now focusing on the twenty-five episodes of the original Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion series and, presumably, the R2 series with its twenty-five-episode run. With the series originally on Funimation for years, it’s been on Crunchyroll for a couple of years in its original Japanese and English dubs and a few subtitle options. Now, Crunchyroll is expanding on that as they’ve started offering a Hindi dub for it. The first episode went live on Wednesday night at 11:00 pm ET and it looks like new episodes will arrive weekly for it instead of a full-drop approach.
The original TV series premiered in 2006 with a sequel run in 2008. A spinoff OVA series began in 2012 that ran for several years with Akito the Exiled.
