Crunchyroll Launches French ‘Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation’ 2nd Anime Season Dub

The winter 2021 anime adaptation of the Mushoku Tensei: Roxy Gets Serious had its second cour land in the fall of 2021 and we learned in March 2022 that a second season had gotten the green light. Crunchyroll recently confirmed their pickup of it with plans for a 2023 simulcast to come.

With a summer 2023 plan, the show saw a July 2nd, 2023 premiere for it. Crunchyroll set a July 23rd, 2023 premiere for the English dub but they also launched several other dubs with it as well wit hlast month seeing Portuguese, Spanish, Russian, German, Italian, and Castilian language options now available with the “zero” episode of the season. Now, Crunchyroll is working on this show again as on Sunday they launched the French language version of episode “zero” as well along with the first episode. New episodes will be arriving weekly for this version.

The English dub of it with Jeremy Inman directing it from the scripts by Madeline Morris. The English cast includes Madeleine Morris as Rudeus, Ben Phillips as Rudeus (Former Self), Giovanni Cruz as Suzanne, Phil Parsons as Timothy, Dalton Tindall as Mimir, Reagan Murdoch as Patrice, Molly Searcy as Sara, and Tabitha Galand as Receptionist.

Additional actors include Joe Cucinotti, Chris Gardner, Grant Paulson, Chris Rutledge, Xan Cramer, Corey Wilder, Kimmie Brit, and Izzy Raine.

The series is directed by Manabu Okamoto with character designs by Kazutaka Sugiyama. Studio Bind is on board for the animation production.

The Japanese cast includes Yumi Uchiyama as Rudeus Greyrat, Ai Kakuma as Eris Boreas Greyrat, Konomi Kohara as Roxy Migurdia, Ai Kayano as Sylphiette, Toshiyuki Morikawa as Paul Greyrat, Hisako Kanemoto as Zenith Greyrat, Lynn as Lillia, Daisuke Namikawa as Ruijerd Superdia, and Tomokazu Sugita as Rudeus Greyrat’s former self.

The second season cast additions include Haruka Shiraishi as Sara, Wataru Hatano as Timothy, Chiharu Sawashiro as Mimir, Itaru Yamamoto as Patris, and Kousuke Toriumi as Soldat Heckler.

The series from Rifujin na Magonote and illustrator Shirotaka is part of the imprint MF Books. The light novels began in 2014 and a manga adaptation kicked off in the same year. Seven Seas Entertainment has the rights to both and is currently releasing them.
