With the usual delay between the period and the reporting in place, Nielsen has updated to reveal the most-streamed shows in the US through the week ending August 6th, 2023. Netflix continues to dominate but this week holds onto seven slots this time – though a few are shared slots.
The debut of Suits on Netflix and Peacock has shown the strength of the series as it came in at 2.3 billion minutes in its first week and hit 3.1 billion minutes in its second week. Now, in its seventh week, it’s again doing huge numbers as it’s at 3.2 billion minutes. Sweet Magnolias delivers more for Netflix with 740 million minutes while The Witcher comes in at 703 million.
Disney+ gets the fourth-place slot as Bluey breaks the billion minutes mark for the fourth time and they also get the second slot for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 this week. Peacock gets the sixth slot for Super Mario Bros. Movie.
