
The spring 2021 entry in the Gridman universe with SSSS.Dynazenon wrapped up with fans pretty well pleased and the overall universe is getting ready for its next project. The folks at Tsuburaya revealed back in December 2021 that in association with Trigger, the next project will be a theatrical anime film.
With the main staff and cast staying on board for it, the film saw a March 24th, 2023 debut. Now, it’s getting its home video release with an October 25th, 2023 release planned that has four editions:
– BD LE (Canime exclusive): 20000yen + tax
– BD LE: 13000yen + tax
– BD Reg: 5800yen + tax
– DVD Reg: 4800yen + tax

The newly added cast includes:

The SSSS.Dynazenon series was directed by Akira Amemiya based on scripts by Keiichi Hasegawa. Masaru Sakamoto is on board as the character designer with Trigger handling the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes Daiki Hamano as Gauma, Junya Enoki as Yomogi Asanaka, Shion Wakayama as Yume Minami, Yuichiro Umehara as Koyomi Yamanaka, Chika Anzai as Chise Asukagawa, Hiroshi Kamiya as Jyuga, Yūma Uchida as Onijya, Ayaka Suwa as Mujina, Kouki Uchiyama Shizumu, Mariya Ise as Inamoto, Azusa Tadokoro as Mei, Jin Ogasawara as Awaki, Gakuto Kajiwara as Nazumi, Rio Tsuchiya as Ranka, and Hikaru Tohno as Kaneishi.
The TV series opening theme song is “Imperfect” by Masayoshi Oishi while Maaya Uchida will be performing the ending theme song for the series with “Strobe Memory.”

Plot concept: One day, Yomogi Asanaka, a first-year student at Fujiyokidai High School, runs into a mysterious man named Gauma who claims to be a “kaiju user.”
The sudden appearance of a kaiju is followed by the entry of the gigantic robot, Dynazenon. In the wrong place at the wrong time are Yume Minami, Koyomi Yamanaka, and Chise Asukagawa, who are dragged into the fight against the kaiju.
