A new anime adaptation was announced back in October 2020 with the My Tiny Senpai property. The project previously revealed the main staff and cast as well as a July 2023 premiere and we’ve had a lot of updates, promos, and visuals that you can see below. Crunchyroll picked up the series with a same-day simulcast on the service. Additionally, they revealed plans for four dubs that include English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Hindi works.
With the show underway, the official site has now rolled out its first preview of the eighth episode that’s due out on September 2nd, 2023.
The show has Mitsutoshi Sato directing it from the scripts by Keiichirō Ōchi, Yasuko Aoki, and Satoru Sugizawa. Hayato Hashiguchi and Hiromi Ogata are handling the character designs with project No. 9 working on the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes:
- Hina Tachibana as Shiori Katase
- Yūki Shin as Takuma Shinozaki
- Nobunaga Shimazaki as Chihiro Akina
- Yumiri Hanamori as Chinatsu Hayakawa
- Mikako Komatsu as Yutaka Shinozaki
The opening theme song “HONEY” has Toya Kobayashi performing while the ending theme song “sugar” will be performed by YU-KA.
Knowing originally as Uchi no Kaisha no Chiisai Senpai no Hanashi, it began in 2020 in Manga Life Storia Dash from Takeshobo as created by Saisou. The manga is ongoing with five volumes released so far.
Plot Concept: An office romantic comedy that centers around the new employee Takuma Shinzaki and Shiori Katase — his short, big-breasted, charming superior at work who cares about her subordinates.
