The Koei Tecmo game Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout is getting some attention as an anime adaptation is set to hit in the summer 0f 2023 with a July 1st debut. With the main cast returning, we recently got a number of character promos and a full series one for it. Crunchyroll recently announced their pickup of the show for the summer 2023 season with a same-day premiere of July 1st, 2023.
Now, with the show underway, the official site has now rolled out the first preview of the tenth episode that’s due out on September 2nd, 2023. The opening theme song is “Arrow” from Awkmiu and the ending theme song is “Golden Ray” as performed by Sangatsu no Phantasia.
The project has set Ema Yuzuriah as its director with Yashichiro Takashi to oversee the scripts having worked on the game. Tomoyuki Shitaya is on board for the character designs and LIDEN FILMS handles the production. Kazuki Yamagawa worked on the game for the music and is working on it here as well.
The Japanese cast includes:

Game Plot Concept: The concept of this title, the latest in the series to depict a new “Atelier” world, is “True-to-life youths that develop together, even if just a little bit”. It is the story of a girl and her friends who are about to become adults, discovering what is most important to them. To depict the story of the main characters discovering things they’ve never seen before, we’ve created fields with natural shadows that allow you to feel the breath of the world. Graphics have been further enhanced, allowing for a world of daily life and adventure to be depicted in a new way.
