Three services add the seies today.

Bokurano Crunchyroll HeaderAcquired in the fall of 2014, Discotek Media previously brought the anime series Bokurano Ours over to Funimation for streaming. Since it’s coming via Discotek, the streaming rights are for the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Brazil, and Mexico only. The show ended up on Crunchyroll as well earlier this year but some new news has come in regarding the home video release.

Retailer Right Stuf has now formally delisted and removed the DVD release of the show from their catalog which means they’re not expecting more copies to be made available for this SKU. It’s still available at some other retailers with copies on hand, and in the secondary market, but if you’re looking for the release it may be getting harder to do so and I wouldn’t wait if you find one at a decent price.

The show is based on the manga of the same name by Mohiro Kitoh and originally ran in 2007 for twenty-four episodes along with a recap episode. The series was directed by Hiroyuki Morita and animated by Gonzo. The manga has been getting a release in North America through Viz Media who has the 11th and final volume released on September 16th, 2014. The manga ran from 2003 to 2009 in the seinen magazine Ikki.

Plot concept: During a summer camp, 15 children, 8 males and 7 females find a grotto by the sea. Deep within they discover working computers and some electronic equipment, and later the owner, a man called Kokopelli. Kokopelli claimed to be a programmer working on a brand new game, in which a large robot has to defend the Earth against alien invasions. He persuades the children to test the game and sign a contract. All but one of them signs, and barely a moment later they mysteriously awaken on the shore believing what happened was just a dream.
