The winter 2023 anime series Buddy Daddies is an original series from Aniplex and they’re handling the home video releases for the show. The thirteen-episode series is getting released across six discs with the DVD sets priced at 5,500 yen each while the Blu-ray sets are priced at 6,500 yen. Each set is listed as a limited edition and you can see the full schedule and details below.
With the fourth set coming up at the end of the month, we now have a look at the cover and packaging for it and packaging for it.
Yoshiyuki Asai is directing it based on the scripts overseen by Yuuko Kakihara. Katsumi Enami worked on the original character designs.
The Japanese cast includes Toshiyuki Toyonaga as Kazuki Kurusu, Kouki Uchiyama as Rei Suwa, Hina Kino as Miri Unasaka, and Toshiyuki Morikawa as Kyūtarō Kugi.
The opening song is “Shock” from Ayase while “My Plan” is the ending theme song from DURDN. The new promo gives us a preview of the opening song.

Plot Concept: Assassins Kazuki Kurusu and Rei Suwa meet Miri, a girl looking for her father on Christmas Day. Kazuki, Rei, and Miri unexpectedly end up living together.
