Fans of Sailor Moon Crystal adaptation of the original manga had the two-film series wrap up in 2021 with Sailor Moon Eternal The Movie as it adapted Dead Moon arc of the manga. Anticipation has been brewing about when things would come together to adapt the final arc of the manga and we learned in April 2022 that it was coming together as Sailor Moon Cosmos. It looks like they’re doing a two-part film in the same way they did the last time around and now some promotion for it has arrived.
The latest is an update on the running times for the films. Anime films can be all over the map when it comes to this but now the official site has revealed that both parts are listed with 80-minute running times for both of them.
"Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Cosmos" movie Part 1 and Part 2 are each listed with lengths of 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Part 1 opens in Japan on June 9 and Part 2 opens in Japan on June 30.https://t.co/F8Dd43f21t pic.twitter.com/a4VzomznPT
