Unemployed Boyfriends 101 In This Fifth ‘Aggressive Retsuko’ Anime Season Clip

2 min read
Tsunoda is back, and now she's is the love police!

We’ve had three seasons of Aggressive Retsuko so far and Netflix revealed back in December 2020 that they wanted more! The third season landed back in August 2020 and did well enough and is hitting the right cost levels for them to put in for a fourth season. The fourth season was a part of the 2021 Christmas season and it arrived with a December 16th, 2021 debut for it. With the fifth season out there now as of February 2023, a new piece of promotion has arrived where Retsuko gets a lesson on what unemployed boyfriends like Haida are like.

The latest season was like the previous ones where the episodes are set for fifteen minutes each and will have Rareko back to direct it at Fanworks while also handling the scripts once again.

Amusingly, Sanrio’s hashtag for this is #NetflixandRAGE. Check out the series page here.

Plot Concept: The series focuses on Retsuko, a 25-year old red panda who works in her dream company’s accounting department. But it turns out that she is forced to keep doing more and more impossible tasks by her superiors and co-workers. She doesn’t talk back to them, but she still has to let off steam, so she ends up going to karaoke by herself and singing death metal.
