Discotek Media previously made the pickup that pleased a lot of fans as the two seasons for Haruka Nogizaka’s Secret were acquired and released back in 2018. We’ve seen some streaming for it since then with it arriving on a couple of different services and getting in front of more viewers, and hopefully picking up more fans along the way.

The latest update on the property comes from our friends over at RetroCrush where they’ve brought out a new clip from the show that definitely makes for some fun when it comes to anime parents.

The first season features the opening theme song “Chōhatsu Cherry Heart” by Milan Himemiya and Chocolate Rockers while the ending theme is “Himitsu Suishō! Uruto Love” by N’s: Kana Ueda, Mai Goto, Rina Satou, Kaori Shimizu, and Mamiko Noto.

The first season features the opening theme song “Tomadoi Bitter Tune” by Milan Himemiya and Chocolate Rockers while the ending theme is “Hitosashiyubi Quiet!” by N’s: Kana Ueda, Mai Goto, Rina Satou, Kaori Shimizu, and Mamiko Noto.

The series originally aired in 2008 but was one of many lost to the financial market chaos of the time and the market contraction on the anime distributor side.

Plot concept: Yūto Ayase attends Hakujō Academy, a private high school in Japan. His classmate, Haruka Nogizaka, is not only very attractive but is intelligent and rich, garnering her the title as the school’s idol. However, one day when Yūto’s friend asks him to return a book to the library, he unexpectedly stumbles across Haruka and her deepest, darkest secret—she is an otaku!! Promising to keep her secret hidden, Yūto and Haruka become close friends, helping Haruka with her secret hobby and developing their relationship together.
