
A new anime adaptation is in the works as it’s been revealed the Whisper Me a Love Song manga from Eku Takeshima is in production. The manga began in 2019 in Comic Yuri Hime for Ichijinsha and it has seven volumes out as of its January 2023 announcement. Now, the official site has updated to reveal a January 2024 debut for the show with the addition of some more casting news and a new key visual.

The anime adaptation will be directed by Xin Ya Cai based on the series scripts overseen by Hiroki Uchida. Minami Yoshida is handling the character designs with Yokohama Animation Lab working on the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes:
- Hana Shimano as Himari Kino
- Asami Seto as Yori Asanagi
The new added cast includes:
- Mikako Komatsu as Aki Mizuguchi
- Konomi Kohara as Mari Tsutsui
- Ai Kakuma as Kaori Tachibana
- Yuna Nemoto as Shiho Izumi
Kodansha Comics is releasing it in English digitally with print coming summer 2023. You can see a visual from the character designer below and then one from Takeshima with a new illustration to celebrate the announcement below.

Plot Concept: Bubbly, energetic first-year high school student Himari falls head over heels for her senpai Yori after hearing her band perform on the first day of school. Himari tells Yori she just loves her, and, to Himari’s surprise, Yori says she loves Himari back! But when Himari realizes that she and her senpai are feeling two different kinds of love, she begins to ask herself what “love” really means…
