‘The Kingdoms of Ruin’ Manga Getting Anime Adaptation

A new anime adaptation is in our future with The Kingdoms of Ruin manga getting the nod. The series is set to be directed by Keitaro Motonaga from the series composition by Takamitsu Kono. Hiromi Kato is handling the character designs with Yokoyama Animation Labe working on the animation production. It’s set for an undated 2023 premiere and we have the key visual to the right released for it.

The Japanese cast includes:

  • Kaito Ishikawa as Adonis
  • Azumi Waki as Doroka

The property comes from writer/artist Yoruhashi which began in 2019 in the Mag Garden magazine Comic Blade. It has seven volumes out in print so far and is an ongoing series that was originally known as Hametsu no Oukoku. Seven Seas publishes the series in North America in print and on digital platforms in single-volume editions. The first volume was released on December 1, 2020 for $12.99 USA / $16.99 CAN.
