A new original anime series is in the works with Pole Princess!! announced near the end of November 2022. With some of the basics and a promotional video released already, the latest update out of Japan is definitely an interesting one. With a new six-minute video, we get a prologue that basically explains some of what the operative plan is here and how they’re taking to pole dancing in order to save a planetarium. It’s mostly story-based here but we also get to see how the art of pole dancing is being portrayed.
The project has Hitomi Ezoe directing it and is based on the scripts by Touko Machida. Tomari worked on the original character designs and Tatsunoko Production is handling the animation for it. A promo and a key visual to the right were released for it along with the cast.
The Japanese cast includes:

Plot Concept: The show focuses on 17-year-old Hinano Hoshikita who comes across the sport of pole dancing by chance and embraces it. The project is a coming-of-age story about the efforts and growth of girls whose lives are changed when they encounter pole dancing.
