The summer 2022 anime series Yakuza’s Guide to Babysitting is getting its home video releases in Japan handled through DMM Pictures. The twelve-episode series is being produced as a four-volume run on Blu-ray only where each set is priced at 8,800 yen beginning on October 26th, 2022.
With the second volume out recently, we now have a look at the packaging for it as well as the fourth and final volume cover ahead of its January arrival. Check out the full schedule and known details below!
The series will be directed by Itsuro Kawasaki based on the scripts supervised by Keiichiro Ochi. Hiromi Ogata is on board for the character designs with the animation production handled by studios feel and GAINA.
The Japanese cast includes Yoshimasa Hosoya as Tooru Kirishima, Misaki Watada as Yaeka Sakuragi, Kaito Ishikawa as Kei Sugihara, Ryota Takeuchi as Kazuhiko Sakuragi, Mai Nakahara as Miyuki Sakuragi, Misa Kobayashi as Kanami Kurosaki, Tomoaki Maeno as Tōichirō Aoi, Wataru Hatano as Rei Hojo, Jun Fukuyama as Masaya Hayami, and Hiroshi Kamiya as Yuri Mashiro.
The series features Sho Takeyuaki performing the opening theme song “Mirai no Hero-tachi he” and VTuber Shibuya HAL performing the ending song “Kaerimichi no Iro.”
The series from Tsukiya began in 2018 and has six volumes published through Micro Magazine as of the announcement. Kaiten Books releases the series in English with two volumes out so far.
