DMM Pictures Samples ‘Shinobi no Ittoki’ Anime Blu-ray Box Set CD Tracks

The original work Shinobi no Ittoki was announced in February 2022 and was part of the fall 2022 season where DMM Pictures is handling the home video release for it. The distributor has set a February 22nd, 2023 release for it where the complete set will have the twelve-episode run priced at 34,500 yen.

The set lists coming with an 80-page booklet  that will feature artwork from it along with staff interviews and we also get the original soundtrack in the set. On-disc extras include the clean theme songs and the web previews.

What’s also included is the original soundtrack CD which the folks at DMM Pictures are highlighting here in order to generate more preorders. They’ve rolled out a three-minute promo for the CD that samples multiple tracks from it to give you a taste of the show itself but having this CD in your collection as part of the set.

The series has Shuu Watanabe directing it with Minato Takano handling the scripts. Isamu Suzuki is handling the character designs and serving as the chief animation director with TROYCA handling the animation production.

The Japanese cast includes Ryota Ohsaka as Ittoki Sakuraba, Katsuyuki Konishi as Tokisada Kaga, Haruka Shiraishi as Kōsetsu, Kikuko Inoue as Yuka Sakuraba, Aoi Yuki as Kirei Kisegawa, Hitomi Sekine as Ryoko Suzuno, And Miyu Tomita as Satomi Tsubaki, Atsushi Imaruoka as Gantetsu Suzunone, Kenyu Horiuchi as Kisuke Ninokuru, Kenji Nomura as Kurodo Dazai, Kaori Nakamura as Yachiyo Mochizuki, Hiroki Maeda as Nishina Amadeus Yoshinaka, Masashi Nogawa as Enya, Kazuyuki Okitsu as IBORO, Yuka Nukui as Mandara Samuragochi, Yo Taichi as Mandara Samuragochi, Koichi Soma as Benkeimuso, and Yo Taichi as Samon Katori.

Shawn Gann served as the ADR director with Marcus Stimac assisting as they work from scripts by Clayton Browning and Matt Shipman. The English cast includes Howard Wang as Ittoki Sakuraba, Emily Fajardo as Kousetsu, Ian Sinclair as Tokisada Kaga, Katelyn Barr as Kirei Kisegawa, Macy Anne Johnson as Ryoko Sukuno, Nazeeh Tarsha as Suzaka Ban, Caitlin Glass as Yumika Sakuraba, Eric Vale as Kidou Minobe, Jim Foronda as Kozo Moriyama, Tiffany Solano as Reiha Tsuge, and Emi Lo as Satomi Tsubaki. Additional cast includes Marianne Bray, Ethan Gallardo, Spencer Liles, Mark Allen Jr., Erica Muse, and Aaron Campbell.

Plot Concept: Ittoki Sakuraba was an ordinary student, until his life was turned upside down! He finds out that he is the 19th heir of the famous Iga Ninjas. The Iga must try to defend what is theirs from the Koga, a rivaling clan seeking to end Ittoki’s life. Ittoki is left with no choice but to become a shinobi that’s strong enough to not only protect himself, but also his village. Now a student at Kokuten Ninja Academy, a high school specializing in shinobi techniques, Ittoki learns the way of the modern-day ninja, equipped with high-tech suits and gadgets. Together with students from other villages, Ittoki clashes with the Koga in an attempt to end the rivalry once and for all.
