‘4-Nin wa Sorezore Uso wo Tsuku’ TV Anime Sets Premiere With New Promo & Key Visual

A new manga adaptation is on the way with the 4-Nin wa Sorezore Uso wo Tsuku series getting a TV anime as we learned in April 2022. With plans for it to air in October 2022 as part of the ANiMAZiNG!!! programming block on ABC TV, the official site has now been updated with the reveal of a new promotional video, a new key visual, and an October 15th, 2022 broadcast premiere for it.

The new series will have Makoto Hoshino directing it based on the scripts overseen by Megumi Shimizu. Ruriko Watanabe is handing the character designs with Studio Flad handling the production with Studio Pierrot assisting.

The Japanese cast includes:

  • Chiemi Tanaka as Rikka
  • Natsumi Murakami as Chiyo
  • Ayane Sakura as Sekine
  • Megumi Han as Tsubasa
  • Yū Serizawa as Tsubasa
  • Yūya Hirose as Hanzou
  • Yōji Ueda as Brian-sensei
  • Tomoko Kaneda as Masukuma
  • Hōchū Ōtsuka as theNarrator

NACHERRY is performing the opening theme song “Eclipse” for the project. The unit is made up of the two leads for the series with Tanaka and Murakami.

The manga began in April 2020 in Weekly Shonen Magazine by Madoka Kashihara. The second volume is out on April 7th, 2022.
