The upcoming live-action adaptation of The Sandman on Netflix has been highly anticipated, especially after we got the behind-the-scenes piece earlier this year with Neil Gaiman taking us through some of the sets and pieces. We learned not that long ago that the series is set for an August 5th, 2022 debut for it on the service and we had a decent trailer for it then.
Now, after getting a really sweet trailer released during SDCC, Netflix has a new four-minute promotional spot that explores who the Endless are and talks to some of the actors and creative behind it.

Comic concept: In PRELUDES & NOCTURNES, an occultist attempting to capture Death to bargain for eternal life traps her younger brother Dream instead. After his seventy-year imprisonment and eventual escape, Dream, also known as Morpheus, goes on a quest for his lost objects of power. On his arduous journey Morpheus encounters Lucifer, John Constantine, and an all-powerful madman. This book also includes the story “The Sound of Her Wings,” which introduces us to the pragmatic and perky goth girl Death.
