Hinami and Touka vs Mado In This ‘Tokyo Ghoul’ Anime Clip

2 min read

The folks at Crunchyroll are taking a dip back in time with some clips that they can work with more now and one of those shows is Tokyo Ghoul. The service has added a fun one from the eighth episode of the series where Hinami Just wants Mom and Dad!

The show was directed by Shuhei Morita based on the scripts by Chuji Mikasano at studio Pierrot. Kazuhiro Miwa is working as the character designer for it.

Check out our review of the first season release here.

The first season starred Natsuki Hanae as Ken Kaneki, Sora Amamiya as Toka Kirishima and Hanazawa Kanaas as Rize Kamishiro. Mamoru Miyano also joined the cast as Shu Tsukiyama along with Takayuki Sugo, Sumire Morohoshi, Katsuyuki Konishi, Yuichi Nakamura, Toshiyuki Toyonaga, Shintaro Asanuma and Takahiro Sakurai as Uta.

The original work comes from Sui Ishida.  Originally starting serialization in Young Jump back in September 2011, the series has done well for a first-time creator who has no other published works to his name in the field.

Plot concept: In modern day Tokyo, society lives in fear of Ghouls: mysterious creatures who look exactly like humans — yet hunger insatiably for their flesh. None of this matters to Ken Kaneki, a bookish and ordinary young man, until a dark and violent encounter turns him into the first ever Ghoul-human half breed. Trapped between two worlds, Ken must survive the violent conflicts of warring Ghoul factions, while attempting to learn more about Ghoul society, his newfound powers, and the fine line between man and monster.
