Aniplex Japan Reveals 3rd ‘Fanfare of Adolescence’ Anime DVD/BD Release Artwork

The spring 2022 anime series Fanfare of Adolescence is getting its home video releases handled by Aniplex Japan and previously set the details for it. The thirteen-episode series is set for a six-volume run on both DVD and Blu-ray that begins on July 6th, 2022 after some delays. The DVDs are priced at 5,800 yen each with the first one at 6,800 yen while the Blu-rays are at 6,800 yen each with the first one at 7,800 yen. All are listed as limited editions.

With the first set coming up in just under two weeks we now have our first look at the third volume that’s coming out in September 2022. Check it and other details about the releases below.

The series was directed by Makoto Kato and character designs by Hiro Kanzaki. Lay-duce is on board for the animation production.

The Japanese cast includes Natsuki Hanae as Amane Grace, Shougo Yano as Yū Arimura, Shimba Tsuchiya as Shun Kanami, Yojiro Itokawa as Shuki Kyoriki, Tatsumaru Tachibana as Sojiro Sakuraba, Inori Minase as Eri Shimotsuki, Toshiyuki Toyonaga as Hayato Hosho, Chiaki Kobayashi as Kota Maki, Takahiro Sakurai as Yutaka Asahi, Hiroki Touchi as Kazuo Nohira, Lynn as Tako Kitami, Masako Katsuki as Naoko Saionji, Daisuke Namikawa as Yoshihisa Kuji, Shōya Kimata as Kōsei Nambara, and Shōsei Ōhira as Masaki Azuma.

The series has set JO1 for the opening theme song “Move The Soul” while SawanoHiroyuki[nZk] with Junki Kōno and Shō Yonashiro will perform the ending theme song “Outsiders.”

Plot Concept: The story takes place at a horse racing academy that trains boys to become jockeys. The three-year academy is very competitive, and those who wish to enter must not only pass an academic test but a physical and fitness test as well. Yū Arimura is a former popular idol who becomes enamored with horse racing after seeing it for the first time, and wants to join the academy. Shun Kanami was raised on an island, and only experienced horse races through radio broadcasts growing up. Amane comes from a high-class family in England, and his father is a former jockey. Amane has previously attended horse racing academies in various countries. The show follows these three 15-year-old boys at the academy.
