Netflix gobbles up so many of the slots!

With the usual delay between the period and the reporting in place, Nielsen has updated to reveal the most-streamed shows in the US through the week ending May 15th, 2022. This period is one where Netflix basically soaked up all the big time by working with a number of large and licensed shows. It’s very light when it comes to original shows for the most part and that shows the power of some series that they do bring on and spend money on.

Netflix gets to dominate this period and they’ve actually managed to gain a stronger position this time around as only one non-Netflix show is on here. And that’s the five-episode Candy series from Hulu, which came in at 577 million minutes. Which isn’t even a third of what the top show did with Ozark coming in at 1.7 billion minutes.

Once past that, we do see the Senior Year movie doing well as did Our Father. The debut of The Lincoln Lawyer has gone over very well while Grace and Frankie is finishing things up with its run well.
