The manga series Ayakashi Triangle got the nod at the end of 2021 that an anime adaptation was coming but there weren’t any details to it – just some controversy on the domestic side about manga localization. While we don’t have cast or staff details still regarding the production, the official site has confirmed that the series will debut in 2023, easing some of the pressure and questions as to whether we’d see it this year or not.
This series comes from creator Kentaro Yabuki who worked on the extensive Black Cat manga series. It began in June 2020 and has six volumes out as of the end of 2021.
Plot Concept: Japan may be brimming with mysterious monsters called ayakashi, but they have a special exorcist ninja force to counter the threat! Young exorcist ninja Matsuri spends his days fighting ayakashi to protect his childhood friend Suzu. But when an ayakashi cat named Shirogane shows up, things get turned upside down! Legendary mangaka Kentaro Yabuki returns to Shonen Jump with this new fantasy series full of ayakashi and romance!
