The anime adaptation of the light novel series Classroom of the back in August 2018 went over generally well and it saw both streaming and home video releases in North America and beyond. We learned back in February 2022 that a sequel season has gotten the green light and then in March that a third season was in the works as well.
Crunchyroll recently picked up the second season, which isn’t a surprise as they handled the first season with Funimation. And since they’re both one now, tada! This basically means they picked up the third season that’s coming sometime in the future as well, but we’ll report on that when it happens.
With that in mind, the production has brought out a new key visual earlier today that comes with the confirmation of a July 4th, 2022 debut. The visuals have been slowly adding more and more characters to the piece with each one.
Crunchyroll has brought out a subtitled version of the trailer below and has noted that the season will be available to viewers in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.

The students there have the freedom to wear any hairstyle and bring any personal effects they desire. Kōdo Ikusei is a paradise-like school, but the truth is that only the most superior of students receive favorable treatment. The protagonist Kiyotaka Ayanokōji is a student of D-class, which is where the school dumps its “inferior” students in order to ridicule them. For a certain reason, Kiyotaka was careless on his entrance examination and was put in D-class. After meeting Suzune Horikita and Kikyō Kushida, two other students in his class, Kiyotaka’s situation begins to change.
