A new anime adaptation is on our way quicker than we usually hear about as The Maid I Hired Recently Is Mysterious has been announced for the summer 2022 season. With a good bit of information already out, the latest update has revealed the opening theme song which is coming from ≠ME with the song title to be revealed. This will mark the first anime opening theme song for the group. You can see the Tweet about it below.
The anime adaptation has Mirai Minato as chief director and working on the scripts for the series. Misuzu Hoshino is on board as the director while Machi Yoshino is handling the character designs. Silver Link and BLADE are handling the animation production for the series.
The Japanese cast includes:
- Saori Hayami as Yuuri
- Rie Takahashi as Lilith
The property comes from the manga by Wakame Konbu which began in January 2020 as serialized in Gangan Joker magazine. It has five volumes out and is ongoing with Yen Press bringing it out in English.
