We learned in February 2021 that a new adaptation is on the way with the announcement from Warner Bros. Japan with The Executioner and Her Way of Life, originally known as Shokei Shōjo no Virgin Road. The light novels were previously licensed by Yen Press in North America under the name Virgin Road. The series saw an April 1st, 2022 debut and now the Japanese side has brought out the first preview of the sixth episode that’s set for a May 6th, 2022 debut below.
HIDIVE is simulcasting the series with it out every Friday at 12:30 pm ET. It’ll be made available to audiences worldwide excluding Asia.

Plot Concept: When interdimensional travelers from an otherworldly land known as “Japan” appear, they often bring death and destruction. It’s up to Executioners like Menou to track and exterminate the Lost Ones before they wreak havoc. When Menou encounters a beguiling Lost One named Akari, it’s bloody business as usual… until Menou discovers Akari can cheat death, that is. Even so, Menou has a job to do, and she is committed to her executioner’s mission come hell or high water — provided her newly stirring feelings don’t get in the way.
