The folks at Wit Studio have a new feature film coming up that’s part of the deal they have with Netflix from a few years ago with Bubble. It’s set for an April 28th, 2022 global debut and that has gone live today on the service. The question we always have with the release is what language options there are for projects like this. For Bubble, it’s in its original Japanese language but they also have an English dub, French dub, Spanish dub, and the Japanese audio description. A new one with anime is a Mandarin (Guoyu) dub as well. On the subtitled side, we get English and English closed-captions, Spanish, Japanese closed-captions, along with Simplified and Traditional Chinese subtitles.
The film comes from director Tetsuro Araki based on the screenplay by Gen Urobuchi. Takeshi Obata worked on the character designs for it. Check out the first trailer and details below.

Plot Concept: The story is set in Tokyo after bubbles that broke the laws of gravity rained down upon the world.
Cut off from the outside world, Tokyo has become a playground for a group of young people who have lost their families, acting as a battlefield for parkour team battles as they leap from building to building.
Hibiki, a young ace known for his dangerous play style, makes a reckless move one day and plummets into the gravity-bending sea. His life is saved by Uta, a girl with mysterious powers. The pair then hear a unique sound audible only to them.
Why did Uta appear before Hibiki? Their encounter leads to a revelation that will change the world.
