
The fall 2020 anime adaptation of the app game King’s Raid: Heirs of the Will saw streaming through Funimation during its run handled the dubbed side of it. Recently, Australian distributor Madman Entertainment has scheduled the first set for release with a Blu-ray scheduled to arrive on April 6th, 2022. That release has now been finalized with solicitations sent to retailers where the set will have the first thirteen episodes in bilingual form priced at $64.95. It’ll be a two-disc set that includes the commercials and clean theme song sequences as extras.
Now, they’re getting things set properly with the official solicitations sent to retailers with the scheduling of the second set. That’s been set for a June 8th, 2022 debut where it’ll mirror the first in pricing and details.
The series was directed by Makoto Hoshino based on the scripts from Megumi Shimizu. Tatsuya Arai is working as the character designer and chief animation director with OLM and Sunrise Beyond handling the production.
The Japanese cast includes the same from the game with Kaito Ishikawa as Kasel, Ai Kakuma as Frey, Ari Ozawa as Cleo, Kengo Kawanishi as Roi, Ryōta Suzuki as Rihito, Yoshino Nanjō as Lupine, Takuma Terashima as Clause, Shun Horie as Theo, Ryotaro Okiayu as Dominicus, Kentaro Ito as Marduk, Masaya Matsukaze as Kyle, Sakura Nakamura as Maria, Mitsuki Nakae as Scarlet, Mika Kanda as Demia, Emi Hirayama as Lorraine, Juri Nagatsuma as Selene, Takako Tanaka as Ophelia, Moe Toyota as Jane, Yūki Takada as Reina, and Riho Iida as Elise.
The dub is directed by the talented Jonathan Klein at New Generation Pictures based on the scripts by Rachelle Heer and Deborah A. Crane. The English cast includes Aleks Le as Kasel, Jordan Reynolds as Roi, Kayli Mills as Cleo, Kira Buckland as Frey, Bryce Papenbrook as Kyle, Caitlin Glass as Scarlett, Dawn M. Bennett as Maria, Doug Erholtz as Malduk, Frank Todaro as Moriham, J. Bowes as Arlette, Jason C. Miller as Narrator, and Jonathan Leon as Tamm.
fripSide will perform the opening theme song “legendary future” while KOTOKO is on board for the ending theme song “SticK Out.”
