Originally planned fall 2021 debut before the pandemic threw everything askew, the upcoming fourth film in the series with Thor: Love and Thunder was due out on May 6th, 2022 before it got moved to its final date of July 8th, 2022. The main production wrapped up principal photography back in June 2021 and has been doing effects and other work since then. With the second Doctor Strange film coming out on May 6th, 2022, the promotion for the fourth Thor film is now getting underway with a new 90-second teaser for it and the first poster for the project as well.
The film has Taika Waititi directing based on the script he co-wrote with Jennifer Kaytin Robinson.
