The fall 2021 anime series Lupin the Third: Part VI made its debut on October 9th, 2021 and has been rolling new episodes out since then. With the show getting a big presentation when it hits Anime NYC ahead of Thanksgiving next month, it looks like the cast will be there from the dub side that’s was supposed to get a streaming run recently but was pushed back. That said, it’s welcome to see that the dub cast for this next series is one of the most familiar ones for anime fans and that their work with the characters over many years helps to build an even better new dub. The English cast includes:
- Tony Oliver as Lupin III
- Lex Lang as Goemon Ishikawa
- Richard Epcar as Daisuke Jigen
- Michelle Ruff as Fujiko Mine
- Doug Erholtz as Inspector Zenigata
The show is set with Eiji Suganuma as the director working from the series composition by Takahiro Ohkura. Hiroki Marafuji is on board with the character designs and Yuji Ohno handling the music. TMS Entertainment is once again backing the animation production.
Sentai Filmworks previously revealed that they’ve picked up the rights to the show and will be streaming it through select outlets. Details regarding streaming will come later but they picked up rights for it in North America, Australia, New Zealand, Scandinavia, and all Nordic Countries.
The Japanese cast from the most recent series includes Daisuke Namikawa as Goemon Ishikawa, Kanichi Kurita as Arsene Lupin III, Kiyoshi Kobayashi (for episode 0) and Akio Ohtsuka as Daisuke Jigen, Kouichi Yamadera as Inspector Zenigata, Miyuki Sawashiro as Fujiko Mine, Inori Minase as Ami Enan, Kenjiro Tsuda as Albert Dandorojii, and Nobunaga Shimazaki as Gorō Yadagarasu.
