One of my favorite series of the past decade is the Nichijou – My Ordinary Life series and it’s pretty much my go-to meme generator as well. We recently got to celebrate the 10th-anniversary since the debut of the TV series in Japan and that has gotten original creator Keiichi Arai to post a little celebration of it. He put a little mini-animated video on his Twitter account with Yuko being Yuko and it’s just a delight that leaves you wanting more, which you can see below.
Nobody expected anything beyond that but now we get to be surprised that Keiichi ARawai has decided to end his six-year break from the manga and has revealed that he’ll be returning to the property in Monthly Shonen Ace starting with the October 26th, 2021 installment. The manga property spawned an anime adaptation that was simulcast by Crunchyroll and briefly licensed by Bandai Entertainment before they closed up shop, effectively placing a hold on the property.

Along with a colorful bunch of classmates, they learn their most important lessons the hard way. Like whether goats are an appropriate form of transportation, who would win in a wrestling match between the principal and a deer, and most notably, if the three-second rule applies to weenies that fly through mohawks. Meanwhile down the street, a pocket-sized professor makes life difficult for a robot who just wants to be normal. But normal is the last thing you can expect in a town where salmon fall from the sky. In fact, the only thing you can count on is your friends, but even they are totally weird.
