A new anime adaptation from ComicFesta with the boys-love manga series Reincarnated Into Demon King Evelogia’s World is getting its home video releases set. The series is set for release on January 26th, 2022 where there’ll be the on-air version DVD priced at 5,800 yen, the limited edition DVD with the uncut version at 6,800 yen, and the limited edition Blu-ray at 7,800 yen. The set includes all nine episodes with promos and commercials.
The Japanese cast includes:
- Shun Horie as “Eve” Evelogia
- Takuya Satō as Gozu
- Hitomi Nabatame as Tishia
- Hiroki Yasumoto as Makidy
- Daisuke Kageura as Yakuza member
- Masahiro Okazaki as Eve’s father
- Noriko Fujimoto as Eve’s mother
- Arashi Hirakawa as Boy #1
With the cast the same for both on-air and broadcast versions, the series is directed by Sanae Nagi based on the scripts they’re writing with Eeyo Kurosaki. Yoko Iwakura is on board working the character designs and it’s being animated at Studio Hokiboshi. Iwakura is serving as a chief animation director alongside Hisashi Nakamoto.

Plot Concept: An aimless young man named Toshiaki Gozu is killed on page 3 and resurrected as a background character in a game world he has been playing. Gozu encounters the Demon King Evelogia, the game’s last boss whom Gozu has adored since he was little. Gozu begins to woo Evelogia by admitting, “I fell in love with you.” Together, they aim to conquer the world.
