Changes are in the wind as a new player is stepping up to the plate as Disney+ has announced an anime adaptation of the Disney Twisted-Wonderland app game. The announcement, sadly, came without any details or expectations of when this will arrive, but 2022 is largely expected.
The game launched in 2020 and has anime cutscenes within it and has been well-received in Japan. Its concept was done by Black Butler creator Yana Toboso.
Check out the official site and Twitter. (TBA)
Plot Concept: The setup for the game has the player summoned to another world, called “Twisted Wonderland”. There, the player is enrolled into a prestigious magician training school “Night Raven College”. They try to find a way home and is guided by a masked character as the player learns magic history, alchemy, and flight techniques.
